About the Project

OVERVIEW
The Mainland management team have been involved in the remediation and clean up of some of Sydney’s major development projects including the Homebush Bay olympic site and Monsanto Chemical site at Rozelle.

The expertise gained from these and many other remediation projects carried out by Mainland Civil allow them to offer both traditional and contemporary solutions to what is often a very expensive problem.

Since its establishment in 1998 the Mainland Group of companies have excavated and transported over 750,000m3 of contaminated materials to approved EPA licensed landfills.

The relationship developed with the EPA, industry consultants and auditors, along with our own extensive experience allows us to develop alternative and less-expensive solutions for our clients where practical. This may include capping, stabilisation, soil washing and bio remediation.

Recently completed remediation contracts include:

Site 16, Greensquare (Mirvac) $15 million
Victoria Park, Zetland (Landcom) $5.0 million
Carillon apartment, Newtown (Multiplex) $1.5 million
Domain, Alexandria (Buildcorp) $2.5 million
Tempe tip remediation (Marrickville Council) $6.0 million
Erskineville residential development (Multiplex) $3.0 million
