OVERVIEW
Green Square Town Centre Site 5 is a residential development part of the Green Square Town Centre located on Bourke Street Zetland NSW.
Mainland Civil was engaged by Mirvac to design and construct a cased secant and contiguous pile shoring system to withstand a high water table. Mainland also undertook the removal of 39,000m3 of asbestos contaminated and VENM soils.
The final stages of Mainland works involved detailed excavation and the installation of permanent hold down rock anchors incorporated into the foundations to withstand hydrostatic pressures.
