Kim joined Mainland Civil in 1999, bringing many years of financial expertise and leadership to the business. As Chief Financial Officer, Kim oversees all aspects of the company’s financial strategy, planning, and reporting, ensuring long-term financial stability and growth.

Bobby Jovanovski - BE (Civil)
Construction Manager (NSW)
Bobby joined Mainland Civil in 2012 as a Civil Engineer having worked in the demolition and construction industry both locally and abroad. Bobby combines an excellent understanding of client expectations and ways to achieve project outcomes with creative problem solving abilities and well developed interpersonal skills.

Lucky Von Heydebreck - BE (Civil) Dip PM
Construction Manager (QLD)
After graduating from the University of Queensland as a Civil Engineer, Lucky commenced his career within Mainland Civil as a Site Engineer in 2014. With a focus on the growth of the Queensland Team, he has worked closely with clients to successfully deliver innovative and timely solutions for some of Australia’s largest and most complex projects. Lucky has a particular interest in providing the highest standard of service across every project.

James Edwards - Dip of WHS, Cert IV TAE, Lead Auditor
National HSEQ & Systems Manager
James joined Mainland Civil January 2022 as the QLD HSEQ Manager and was promoted to National HSEQ Manager in June 2025. James draws his HSEQ discipline from his Diploma in WHS as well as 9 years of safety leadership experience in providing technical expertise and HSEQ strategies to projects and operations. James is also a member of the Australian Institute of Health & Safety. With a high level of interpersonal skills, James is a great advocate in Safety leadership, focusing on people’s well-being, health & safety, and safe work practices.

Lily Halpin - Cert IV WHS, Cert IV TAE
HSEQ Manager (NSW)
Lily joined the business in 2021 progressing through internal training and development to step into the HSEQ Coordinator role in July 2022. She was then promoted to HSEQ Manager for NSW in July 2025. Lily brings a proactive, solutions-focused approach to safety leadership, building strong relationships across teams and translating complex requirements into practical, on-site outcomes. Her commitment to continuous improvement contributes significantly to the company’s operational performance and its reputation for safe, dependable delivery.

Stephen Angelis - BE (Civil)
Estimating Manager (NSW)
Stephen joined Mainland Civil in 2002 as a Senior Estimator and has been involved in all aspects of tendering and negotiating projects for 16 years, taking over as Estimating Manager in 2018.

Darren O’Meara
Estimating Manager (QLD)
Darren joined the Mainland team in 2007 as a Site Engineer on projects spanning NSW, the ACT and QLD. Darren has a highly competent ability to drive new technology and was given a role in estimating where he has developed his skills further to become the Queensland Estimating Manager in 2012.

Frank Cetinski - BE (Civil) Hons MBA (With Merit)
Estimating Manager (VIC)
Frank graduated with Class 1 Honours in his Civil Engineering Degree and later followed this with an MBA. After working with a leading construction firm in Sydney, Frank joined Mainland Civil over 20 years ago.
He has extensive experience in both Estimating and Project Management, always striving to provide the most effective solutions for our business partners.

Kevin Mitchell
Plant Manager
Kevin is a qualified plant mechanic within 25 years’ experience in heavy plant and light vehicle fleet management. He has worked for Mainland since 2000 and is responsible for procurement, maintenance and service to ensure our fleet remains safe, up-to-date and reliable for all our operations and projects.

Rebecca Lieberman - Cert IV HR, Cert IV Leadership and Management
Office Manager / Employee Liaison Officer
Rebecca joined Mainland Civil’s operations in 2002 as our Receptionist and Personal Assistant to the Directors. This soon led her to take on the role Office Manager for Mainland Civil, where Rebecca oversees the day-to-day administrative functions of the business. In 2018, Rebecca expanded her responsibilities, stepping into the role of Employee Liaison Officer, helping to foster a positive work environment across the group.
