OVERVIEW
Set to become the future home for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, the Australian Technology Park Building 1 was the first of three major developments by Mirvac at the Eveleigh site.
Covering a site area of 10,000m2, Mainland Civil were responsible for the design and construction of 223 deep foundation piles with pile caps to support the building loads. Following the piling works, Mainland Civil then completed the detail excavation of four large cores.
With a tight program to achieve, staged handovers were required for Mirvac to accelerate critical areas for construction to commence.
Access roads with stormwater upgrades completed Mainland’s scope of works on the project.
