OVERVIEW
The new Noble/Bradman Grandstand located within the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) forms part of the overall upgrade of the SCG facility.
Mainland Civil was engaged by the builders of the new Grandstand (AW Edwards) to design and construct the temporary sheet pile shoring and excavate approximately 35,000m3 of contaminated and clean sands.
The final stages of our works included progressive detail excavation and backfilling of ground structures in close co-ordination with the builder.
