OVERVIEW
The UTS Building 11 project is located on the corners of Broadway, Jones and Wattle Street on the fringes of the busy CBD.
Mainland Civil were required to install over 1000m2 of shoring and remove 60,000m3 of bulk excavation including contaminated fill, clays and hard sandstone.
The depth of the excavation and proximity to existing roads and buildings required the use of a purpose built steel and concrete loading platform for the removal of excavation spoil.
