OVERVIEW
Landcom, one of the largest land developers in New South Wales, required the 27ha Victoria Park Naval Supply Centre to be remediated to satisfy the National Environmental Health Forum ‘D’.
Mainland Civil tendered for and were awarded the contract for the remediation of this major urban renewal project.
Work involved removal of ‘solid’, ‘industrial’ and ‘hazardous’ waste, as well as on-site treatment incorporating both ‘stabilisation’ and ‘bioremediation’ techniques.
