Robert Dahan BE (Civil)

Executive Director


Robert graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1984. He began his career with a substantial civil contracting company ultimately rising to the role of General Manager, where he was responsible for the management of both private and public sector projects with an annual turnover of $70 million. Robert has also been involved with the Civil Contractors’ Federation at National Board Level for approximately ten years.

Angelo Forte BE (Civil) (Hons)

Angelo graduated as a Civil Engineer with Honours in 1986. He began working in the civil contracting sector, specialising in city excavation and site remediation. He has a reputation within the industry of working with clients to develop cost and time effective solutions for some of the most challenging projects in NSW and Southeast Queensland.

Stuart Muir BE (Civil)

Managing Director


Stuart graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1988. He joined a leading civil engineering contractor as Site Engineer, progressing to the role of Project Manager. In 1996 he relocated to Asia for four years where he gained valuable building experience working as a Project Manager in the residential building sector. Upon his return to Australia he joined Mainland Civil as Project Manager, moving to the role of General Manager. Stuart’s understanding of both civil and building works gives him a better working knowledge of client requirements. In 2015 Stuart was appointed as a Company Director and Managing Director in 2022.

Brett Talbot BE (Civil)

General Manager / Director (NSW/VIC)


Brett graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1995. After relocating to Sydney, he joined a leading civil engineering contractor as a Site Engineer and progressed to Project Manager. After a brief secondment to the Sydney Olympics construction team, Brett joined Mainland Civil in 2000 and with more than 20 years’ experience he now holds the position as General Manager for NSW and VIC.

Tye Bridgman Dip Eng (Civil)

General Manager (QLD)


Joining Mainland Civil’s Sydney operations in 2002 as a Site Engineer, Tye acquired a wide range of skills working professionally on large CBD projects. As a result of his skills and expertise, he was given the task of establishing Mainland Civil in Queensland and Victoria. Since taking on this role, he has been involved in the delivery of some of Australia’s largest and most challenging CBD projects.
