OVERVIEW
The Charles Perkins Building is located off Broadway and next to Orphans School Creek Lane in Camperdown.
The scope of works included:
• Perimeter secant piling with shotcrete face
• Removal of asbestos contaminated ground – 40,000m3
• Treatment and removal of ASS soils – 10,000m3
• Completion of bulk excavation in clay and shale -40,000m3
• Construction of foundation piling
• Construction of external drainage and roadworks
This job was one of the major works upgrade of the Sydney University Campus.
