OVERVIEW
This project was part of a major upgrade to service the Shellharbour local government region. It involved the construction of a new railway station complete with access roads, commuter parking, buildings and bus interchange.
Platform construction and service diversions were carried out under strict OHS compliance and State Rail safety procedures whilst maintaining road and rail traffic flow.
The unique station architecture incorporated a combination of steel, glass masonry and timber construction.
