With its premium Broadbeach location, Sierra Grand is the latest Gold Coast development for the Amalgamated Property Group.
Difficult site conditions were present due to a high water table and elevated hydrostatic pressures on the proposed ground slab. An elaborate wellpoint de-watering system, sheet piling and large diameter bored piles were designed to overcome these obstacles.
50,000m3 of excavated sand was utilised by the Gold Coast City Council for beach front management and restoration.
