OVERVIEW
The Cove is a GloBuild residential development located next to Pacific Highway and the Lane Cove tunnel.
Mainland Civil’s scope of works included the design and installation of shoring followed by 24,000m3 bulk excavation and detailed excavation of the four level basement.
Due to the close proximity to the Lane Cove tunnel there were strict vibration limitations for these works. Internal bracing was required along two of the walls instead of anchoring to avoid potential clashes with the Lane Cove tunnel.
