OVERVIEW
Mainland Civil was engaged by Ku-ring-gai Council for the expansion of an existing 9-hole golf course to an 18-hole golf course with the creation of new holes, predominantly over an existing council landfill.
The works included site clearance, site remediation, bulk earthworks including the import of approximately 200,000m3 of VENM for landfill cover and capping layers.
Other works onsite included the installation of stormwater drainage, timber bridges, retaining walls and detailed earthworks for greens, tees, bunkers and fairways.
