OVERVIEW
The Westfield Miranda project is located along the Kingsway on the corner of Wandella road. Westfield were undertaking a major upgrade including the extension of their underground carpark.
Mainland Civil were engaged to design and construct perimeter shoring consisting of soldier piles and shotcrete panels to full depth.
Bulk excavation included the removal of approximately 130,000m3 of fill, clay and shale.
Due to the fixed retail deadlines Mainland worked 7 days per week to complete the works within the Westfield tight construction programme.
