OVERVIEW
This project required the upgrading and reconstruction of rail freight facilities and hardstand pavements for heavy duty forklift and transport access.
The Mainland Civil scope of works included:
• Heavy duty concrete and segmental paving (6,000m2)
• Rail infrastructure works
• Electrical services and light towers
• Stormwater reticulation
• The removal of hazardous materials and refurbishment of office and administration buildings.
The works were completed within programme and budget to strict OH&S and environmental controls.
